The Hochschul-Sozialwerk Wuppertal (HSW), based in Wuppertal, an institution under public law (Anstalt des öffentlichen Rechts, A.ö.R.), pursues exclusively and directly non-profit and charitable purposes via economic, social and cultural support for students at Wuppertal’s universities. 2. Which data protection rights do I have?

If the legal prerequisites exist, you can request the deletion or limitation of processing them and appeal against the processing (Articles 17, 18 and 21 GDPR).
If you have consented to data processing or to a data-processing-contract and the processing of data is carried out using automated procedures, you may be entitled to data transferability (Article 20 GDPR).

The HSW has implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data collected via our website against unauthorized access, misuse, loss or destruction.
However, we would like to point out that internet-based data transmission has security gaps, thus complete protection against access by third parties is rendered impossible.
