It may be a bit lively in a shared flat, but no international student will come into contact with students from Germany or other countries more quickly than in a hall of residence. Also not to be missed: Freshers' parties offered by various organisers, such as the ASTA or the individual faculties. The Studierendenwerk Wuppertal also offers first semester parties in the halls of residence through its tutors. There are also various regulars‘ tables (e.g. the International Student Team or the international regulars’ table in the ‘Kneipe’ on Monday evenings during the semester).

You can also get a lot of information from the ASTA - the student representatives at the University of Wuppertal. The ZIM (Centre for Information and Media Processing) answers questions about the Internet and PCs. University sport is also offered in Wuppertal. The Studierendenwerk Wuppertal, the residence tutors, the individual student councils and the International Students Team can also help you make contacts.
