Student meeting place

There is a party room in the basement, which is managed by the residents themselves; look out for the relevant notices.
The student meeting place ‘08/15’ at Albert-Einstein-Straße 4 is also very close by, where fellow students also meet regularly to chat and play games.
Outside, you will find a barbecue area in the centre - which, by the way, was built with the help of many residents! Please use it with care.
The best and closest opportunity for freshly tapped drinks and attractive cuisine is the university pub in ME04 (Mon-Fri 11am-11pm).

Internet

Each flat has a modern internet connection. The costs are already included in the warm rent.

In the flats

You can do whatever you like in your flat - as long as you observe the house rules.
The rule of thumb is: ‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!’ Respect the property of your flatmates and make sure you take care of the communal facilities (kitchen and bathroom) - it has been shown that flat-sharing communities get on better with a cleaning schedule.
If you notice any damage to the parquet flooring, windows, kitchen, doors or corridors, please inform our caretakers immediately (hausmeister(at)hsw.uni-wuppertal.de) or use our defect report form.

Washing & Drying

You can use the communal laundry facilities in the basement. One wash cycle costs 2,- EUR, one drying cycle 1,50 EUR.
